The Bridge of Brodgar stretched out before me. Its verdant landscape and crystalline waters reminded me of the days when Grandfather and I played amongst the blades of grass.
Now he’s gone.
But he’s left me his legacy – his kingdom of faeries.

A magical piece! It fits well with the picture, but I would enjoy it even if I didn’t have a photographic reference point.
I’m visiting from the Yeah Write Linky. 🙂

The King is dead, Long live the Queen! The picture evoked a sense of magic in me as well. I especially enjoyed the emotional memory evoked by your time spent with your grandfather!

I think so! There’s just something magical about it. Maybe cuz it’s druidic in nature. ☺

The picture does look very lonely and kind of sad.

It feels me with such longing. It’s all alone while its mates are all on the other side of the bridge.
